Globenix Publisher welcomes applications from experienced academics, publishing professionals, and early-career researchers who wish to contribute to high-quality, open access scholarly publishing. As an international publisher based in India, we develop journals that meet rigorous editorial and ethical standards.

Note: Some roles are formally remunerated while others (editorial board, reviewers) are honoraria-based, voluntary, or linked to institutional agreements. Compensation packages and time commitments are discussed during selection.

1. Editor (EiC / Section)

Provide scholarly leadership. Oversee editorial standards, manage peer review decisions, and shape journal scope and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set editorial direction and policy.
  • Assign and manage handling editors/reviewers.
  • Recruit/mentor editorial board members.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent research experience.
  • Prior editorial/peer-review experience.

2. Reviewer

Provide fair, constructive, and timely peer reviews to assess manuscripts for originality, methodological rigour, and contribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver thorough written reviews.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise (publications/PhD).
  • Recognition available via Publons/Certificates.

3. Subject-Matter Advisor

Provide strategic advice on editorial policy, journal scope, indexing strategy, and special issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on indexing readiness.
  • Assist with special issue planning.
  • Quality assurance and outreach.

Qualifications

  • Senior academic or professional.
  • Recognized expertise in the subject area.

4. National Representative

Act as a local point of contact and outreach ambassador to support author recruitment and institutional engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote calls for papers.
  • Facilitate institutional relationships.
  • Support local authors with queries.

Qualifications

  • Strong network in the academic community.
  • Based in the respective representation region.

5. Editorial Assistant

Provide administrative and operational support to the Editorial Office — manuscript triage, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial submission checks.
  • Manage correspondence with authors.
  • Assist with metadata checks and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field.

6. Acquisition Executive

Identify opportunities for new journals, special issues, and institutional partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with societies.
  • Propose new themed collections.
  • Assist with institutional memberships.

Qualifications

  • Experience in publishing sales/outreach.
  • Strong communication and business acumen.
