Peer Review Policy
Globenix Publisher is committed to rigorous, fair, transparent, and timely peer review. Our editorial process ensures that all accepted manuscripts meet the highest scholarly and ethical standards[cite: 80, 81].
1. Peer Review Models
Globenix Publisher supports multiple peer review models. The specific model used for a submission is determined by the journal and is displayed on the journal’s homepage[cite: 84, 87].
- Single-Blind Review: Reviewers remain anonymous; authors’ identities are visible to reviewers and editors[cite: 88].
- Double-Blind Review: Reviewers do not know authors’ identities and authors do not know reviewers’ identities[cite: 89]. Authors must submit a fully anonymized manuscript for this model[cite: 90].
- Open Review (Transparent): Reviewers’ names and/or reports may be published alongside the article, provided the reviewer explicitly consents[cite: 91, 93].
2. Editorial Independence & Responsibilities
Editors make decisions on manuscripts based solely on intellectual merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and ethical integrity[cite: 95]. Commercial, political, or personal interests must never influence editorial decisions[cite: 96].
- Editor-in-Chief (EiC): Holds overall responsibility for editorial standards, appointing editors, and making final decisions on manuscripts[cite: 98].
- Handling Editors: Manage peer review for assigned submissions, assess reviewer reports, and communicate decisions[cite: 99].
- Conflicts of Interest: Editors who have a conflict of interest with a manuscript (e.g., authorship, direct collaboration, financial interest) must recuse themselves and reassign the manuscript[cite: 101, 102].
3. Reviewer Selection & Expectations
Editors aim to select at least two independent reviewers for each manuscript based on their subject-matter expertise and impartiality[cite: 103].
- Reviewers must provide constructive, objective, and timely reviews focused on scientific quality, originality, and reproducibility[cite: 107].
- Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline invitations if conflicted[cite: 108].
- All manuscripts and review reports must be kept strictly confidential[cite: 109, 112].
4. Editorial Decision Categories
Decisions are made after considering reviewers’ reports and the manuscript’s fit to scope[cite: 119]. Categories include:
- Accept: Manuscript accepted with no further revisions required[cite: 116].
- Minor Revision: Acceptable after small changes; authors must submit a point-by-point response[cite: 117].
- Major Revision: Substantive revision required; the resubmission will undergo further editorial or peer review[cite: 118].
- Reject: Not acceptable for publication in the journal[cite: 118].
5. Indicative Timelines
We strive for rapid dissemination of research without compromising rigorous review. Timelines may vary by discipline and specific journal[cite: 120, 121].
| Editorial Stage | Target Timeframe |

| Initial Editorial Check | 3–7 days [cite: 121] |

6. Appeals & Complaints

- Appeals must be submitted in writing to editorial@globenixpublisher.com[cite: 136].
- Include the Manuscript ID, title, grounds for appeal, and supporting evidence[cite: 136, 137].
- Appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or an independent editorial committee not involved in the original decision[cite: 138]. Outcomes are final[cite: 139].
For complaints regarding editorial conduct or reviewer misconduct, please contact the Editorial Office. Complaints are treated confidentially and investigated promptly[cite: 140].
