Author Instructions — Globenix Publisher

  1. Scope & Who Should Submit

Globenix Publisher welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that fall within the aims and scope of our journals. Before submitting, confirm that your manuscript matches the specific journal’s Aims & Scope (see each journal page). Submissions are accepted from researchers worldwide.

  1. Before You Submit — Quick Requirements

All submissions must include:

  1. Title page (see section 4) with full author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and corresponding author contact.
  2. Main manuscript file (anonymized if the journal uses double-blind review — see note).
  3. Abstract (structured/unstructured according to article type) and 3–8 keywords.
  4. Cover letter (use our template below).
  5. Any figures, tables, and supplementary files uploaded separately in allowed formats.
  6. Statements: funding, conflicts of interest, author contributions (CRediT), data availability, and ethics approvals (if applicable).

Note on peer review model: Each journal’s Peer Review & Editorial Policy describes the review model (single-blind, double-blind, or open). If a journal uses double-blind review, submit both (A) a Title Page with author details and (B) a separate anonymized manuscript that contains no author names/affiliations or identifying self-citations.

  1. Article Types & Length (recommended)
  • Original Research Article: 4,000–6,000 words (including references).
  • Review Article: 6,000–10,000 words. Prior registration with the editors is encouraged for solicited reviews.
  • Short Communication / Brief Report: 1,500–2,500 words.
  • Case Study / Field Note: 1,500–3,000 words (subject to journal scope).
  • Book Review / Commentary: 800–1,500 words.

Word counts do not include references, tables, or figure legends unless otherwise stated by the journal.

  1. Manuscript Structure & Formatting

Provide manuscripts in the following order (unless the journal’s page specifies otherwise):

  1. Title page (separate file):
    • Full title (concise and informative).
    • Short running title (≤ 60 characters).
    • Full author names and institutional affiliations.
    • ORCID iD for each author (encouraged).
    • Corresponding author: email, postal address, telephone.
    • Word count (main text only).
    • Number of figures and tables.
    • Acknowledgements (if any) and funding statement.
    • Author contributions using CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Writing—Original Draft, etc.).
    • Declaration of competing interests / conflicts of interest.
    • Suggested reviewers (optional) — include name, affiliation, and e-mail; declare any conflicts.
  2. Main manuscript (for review):
    • Title (repeat).
    • Abstract (see section 5).
    • Keywords.
    • Main text with clear section headings (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion).
    • References.
    • Figure captions and Table captions (place after references or uploaded separately).
  3. Supplementary material: supplied as separate files (clearly labelled).

File formats:

  • Manuscript: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) — preferred. PDF may be uploaded for reference only.
  • Figures: TIFF, JPEG, PNG, EPS (high resolution). Submit figure files separately — do not embed low-resolution images in the Word file as sole source.
  • Tables: editable Word or Excel files. Do not embed large tables as images.
  • Supplementary: PDF, Excel, CSV, or other standard data formats.

File naming convention: JournalAbbr_LastName_Title_V1.docx (e.g., IMJL_Sharma_ClimateStudy_V1.docx)

  1. Title & Abstract
  • Title: Concise, informative, and reflective of the content. Avoid abbreviations and jargon.
  • Abstract: 150–300 words for original and review articles. Structured abstracts (Background; Methods; Results; Conclusions) are preferred for empirical research. The abstract should be a single paragraph (unless structured is required). Do not include citations or figure/table references in the abstract.
  • Keywords: 3–8 keywords, separated by commas; use widely recognized terms for discoverability.

  1. Language & Style
  • Submit manuscripts in clear, grammatically correct English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged (but not required) to use professional language editing prior to submission.
  • Use British or American English consistently throughout the manuscript.
  • Use SI units where applicable.

  1. References & Citation Style

Globenix journals accept the following reference styles; check the specific journal page for the preferred style:

  • Humanities & Education (recommended): APA (7th edition) — Author (Year) format.
  • Multidisciplinary / Sciences: Vancouver (numeric) style is acceptable where appropriate.

Examples:

  • APA: Smith, A. B., & Kumar, R. (2022). Title of article. Journal Name, 12(3), 45–58. https://doi.org/xxx
  • Vancouver: Smith AB, Kumar R. Title of article. Journal Name. 2022;12(3):45–58.

Provide DOI numbers where available. Ensure references are complete and consistent.

  1. Figures & Tables
  • Figures: Submit at 300 dpi or higher for photographs; line art at 600 dpi. Provide original high-resolution files (TIFF, EPS, or PNG). Include figure numbers and captions in the manuscript. If figures reproduce previously published material, supply evidence of permission.
  • Tables: Submit editable tables (Word or Excel). Number tables sequentially and provide descriptive captions. Avoid embedding tables as images.

  1. Ethics, Consent & Approvals
  • Human subjects: Provide ethics committee/institutional review board approval details and include informed consent statements where applicable. Clinical trials must include registration number and registry name.
  • Animal studies: Include institutional animal care and use committee approval and compliance statements.
  • Consent to publish: Obtain consent for identifiable personal data or images.
  • Research integrity: All authors must confirm adherence to ethical standards. For submissions involving vulnerable groups, additional protections and approvals must be described.

  1. Data Availability & Reproducibility

Authors must include a Data Availability Statement describing where the underlying data, code, or materials can be accessed (e.g., public repository link) or explaining why data cannot be shared (with a justification). Encouraged repositories include recognized institutional or subject repositories. Data sharing supports reproducibility and indexing.

  1. Plagiarism, Prior Publication & Preprints
  • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions that overlap substantially with the authors’ previously published work must cite and explain the differences.
  • Preprints: Posting on preprint servers (e.g., arXiv, SSRN) is permitted, but authors should declare any preprint in the cover letter and provide a link. Preprint posting does not preclude submission.

  1. Copyright, Licensing & APCs
  • Authors retain rights as specified in the journal’s Copyright & Licensing policy. Globenix Publisher uses open access licenses (see journal page for the exact license; CC BY is commonly used).
  • Article Processing Charges (APCs) and waiver policies are described in the APCs & Waiver Policy. These apply after acceptance. Do not include payment information in the initial submission.

  1. Peer Review & Editorial Process (summary)
  1. Initial editorial check for scope, compliance, and completeness.
  2. Similarity and plagiarism screening.
  3. Peer review: Manuscripts meeting initial checks are assigned to at least two independent reviewers (single- or double-blind as per journal policy).
  4. Editorial decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. The editor makes the final decision based on reviewer reports and editorial judgment.
  5. Revision & resubmission: Revised manuscripts must include a point-by-point response to reviewer comments.
  6. Post-acceptance: Production, proofing, and publication.

(Full details and timelines are available in the Peer Review & Editorial Policy.)

  1. Typical Timelines (indicative)
  • Initial editorial check: 3–7 days.
  • Peer review: typically 4–10 weeks (varies by field and reviewer availability).
  • Decision after review: variable; authors are notified by email.
These are typical targets and can vary by journal and special issues.

  1. After Acceptance
  • You will receive an acceptance letter with instructions on licensing, APCs (if applicable), and production timelines.
  • Proofs will be provided for author approval; changes at proof stage should be limited to typographical corrections.
  • Article metadata (author names, affiliations, ORCIDs, abstract, keywords, funding) will be used for indexing and discovery.

  1. Common Reasons for Rejection
  • Out of scope for the journal.
  • Insufficient novelty or contribution.
  • Poorly presented or methodologically unsound research.
  • Ethical or compliance issues (e.g., lack of approvals).
  • Excessive similarity to previously published work.
